1. Information We Collect

MovingWallet is a non-custodial tool. We do not collect, store, or transmit your private keys, seed phrases, or wallet credentials. When you connect your wallet, we only read your public address to query on-chain data.

2. On-Chain Data

Asset detection queries are performed against public blockchain data via third-party RPC providers (e.g., Alchemy). We do not persist query results on our servers.

3. Product Analytics

With your explicit, opt-in consent (via the cookie banner), we use PostHog to understand anonymous product usage — page views and UI interactions such as button clicks. Analytics never initializes before you accept, and stops immediately if you withdraw consent.

What we send: anonymous event names, the page/surface, and categorical properties (for example, which migration option you selected — never the underlying amount or address). What we never send: your wallet address (whole or partial), destination addresses, exact portfolio or transaction values, transaction hashes, or raw error messages. We never call PostHog's identify() or alias() functions — no event is ever linked to a real-world identity, and your wallet is never used as an analytics identifier.

We may also use Vercel's own privacy-focused Web Analytics/Speed Insights for aggregate site-performance metrics. It does not use cookies and does not track individual visitors.

4. Local Storage

Simulation results and run history are stored locally in your browser. This data does not leave your device.

5. Third-Party Services

We use Vercel for hosting. Analytics data (see Section 3) is the only usage information shared with a third party (PostHog), and only after your consent. No wallet-linked data is shared with third parties.

6. Data Retention

Specific retention periods for analytics events are not yet documented publicly — pending confirmation.
